Musician, educator, historian.
He founded the Seven Oaks Historical Society and serves as its President. He is a member of the board for Heritage Winnipeg. He assists the Manitoba Historical Society in its Historic Sites of Manitoba inventory project. In 2025, he received a Lieutenant Governor's Award for Historical Preservation and Promotion.
