Pharmacist.
Born in Russia on 16 April 1909, son of Nachman “Nathan” Weiner (1871-1958) and Gietel Gertrude “Geta” Snider (1874-1922), he came to Canada with his family during the First World War. He worked his way through school and graduated from the University of Manitoba's School of Pharmacy in 1934. He operated the Roxy Pharmacy at 477 Henderson Highway for 36 years.
On 9 August 1936, he married Clara Trone (c1910-1976). They had two sons. He was a member of the B'nai B'rith, Hebrew Fraternal Lodge, and Fraternal Order of Eagles. He died while vacationing at Miami, Florida on 26 June 1972 and was buried in the Rosh Pina Memorial Park.
