Memorable Manitobans: John A. “Jack” Urquhart (?-?)Educator. He earned a BA degree from Manitoba College (1893), taught at Reston School (1894-?) and Waskada School (1912-1913), and was Principal of St. Andrews School (1912) and Oak River School (1916-1917). Following the Brandon Ultimatum in the spring of 1922, he joined the Brandon School District, first as a teacher and then as Principal of David Livingstone School (1922). His whereabouts after 1922 are not yet determined.
