Businessman.
Born in Lithuania in July 1869, he came to Canada in 1887. He moved to Winnipeg around 1891 and worked as a scrap dealer.
He and wife Minnie Goldie Altwark (1866-1925) had six children: Sara Seipp (1891-?, wife of Alec Abram), Samuel Seipp (1892-?), Max Seipp (1893-?), Lawrence Abe Seipp (1895-?, husband of Helen Aronovitch, son-in-law of Abraham Herman Aronovitch), Caroline Seipp (1897-?, wife of Max Cohen), and Isidore Seipp (1899-1930). He founded the first Shaarey Zedek Synagogue in Winnipeg and was one of the founders of the House of Jacob. He was active in B'nai B'rith and Talmud Torah.
He died at Winnipeg on 20 February 1951 and was buried in the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
