Accountant.

Born at Toronto, Ontario on 7 January 1879, son of John Moore Reade and Janet Bain, he was educated in Toronto and at New York University (BCS 1910). He studied accounting in Toronto and Winnipeg and, in 1910, established the chartered accounting firm of Hubert Reade and Company located in 407-408 Quebec Bank Building.

He was a member of the Adanac Club, Winnipeg Golf Club, Assiniboine Club, Winnipeg Rotary Club, Fort Rouge Lawn Bowling Club, Assiniboine Athletic and Curling Club, AF & AM, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Dominion Association of Chartered Accountants, Conservative party, and Anglican church.

He died at Winnipeg on 11 March 1945.
