Memorable Manitobans: William Moxam (1882-1950)Born at Foresters Falls, Ontario, Ontario on 25 August 1882, son of Emanuel M. Moxam (1854-?) and Annie Moxam (1852-?), twin brother of John Archibald Moxam, he came to Manitoba in 1903 and worked as a building contractor, at Petersfield for four years and later at Winnipeg. He and wife Ethel Blanche Demille (1886-1955) had two daughters: Marjorie Irene Moxam (1906-?, wife of Clarence Lee Tallie) and Helen Adelaide Moxam (1907-1987). He was a charter member of the Vermillion Lodge AF & AM at Dauphin. He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 28 April 1950 and was buried in the Brookside Cemetery.
