Historic Sites of Manitoba: Powerview-Pine Falls War Memorial (Powerview-Pine Falls)

In recent years this memorial in the community of Powerview-Pine Falls was restored with help from Veterans Affairs Canada. The restoration included the installation of a grey granite monument and a bronzed soldier statue. The monument was originally erected by the Abitibi Power and Paper Company in memory of their employees who lost their lives during the Second World War, names of whom are listed on the monument.
