Curator, historian.

He was the Curator of Dalnavert Museum from the late 1970s to retirement in March 2005. Upon retirement he volunteered with the Western Canada Service Centre of Parks Canada at Winnipeg before moving on to his current position as an Associate Researcher (Volunteer) for the Hudson’s Bay Company Museum Collection at The Manitoba Museum. In 2016 he co-authored, with Rick Lair, the limited-distribution, self-published book The Vernacular Furniture of the Red River Settlement, 1800-1880. In recognition of his community service, he received the Prix Manitoba (1994).
