This three-storey brick apartment block on Stradbrook Avenue in Winnipeg was designed by local architect George William Northwood and built in 1909 by contractors Frederick Hinds and Mitchell at a cost of about $35,000. The 110 by 40 foot building contained 12 apartments plus a janitor’s suite in its basement.
