Formerly located at the southwest corner of Smith Street and Graham Avenue in Winnipeg, a four-storey brick building, measuring 70 feet by 130 feet, was designed by local architect John Danley Atchison and built in 1913 by the Frid-Lewis Company for the Knights of Columbus at a cost of about $150,000.
The main floor contained seven commercial spaces while the upper three floors contained a billiards room, steward’s quarters, reading and writing rooms, lounging rooms, and committee rooms for the Knights of Columbus. In 1928, repairs to the building were done by the construction firm of Langford and Birch at a cost of about $5,000.
The building was demolished in 1974 and today the site is occupied by the Winnipeg Millennium Library.
