Historian.

Son of John Stewart McInnes (1924-1972) and Shirley Louise Baldner (1925-2010), he is a history enthusiast with a particular focus on Manitoba postcards from 1900 to 1920. He describes postcards as the main portal through which he explores and researches this province’s history. His collection includes over 5000 Manitoba cards which have been digitized and catalogued online through the Winnipeg Public Library’s PastForward website.
