Historic Sites of Manitoba: Gowancroft School No. 204 (Municipality of Louise)

The Gowancroft School District was established formally about 1884 and a schoolhouse operated at SW24-3-11 west of the Principal Meridian near the intersection of highways 3 and 34, east of Pilot Mound in what is now the Municipality of Louise. It closed in January 1967 when it was consolidated with Pilot Mound School No. 105. A sign commemorates the school at its former site.
