John Stuart Plohman

Educator, MLA (1981-1986), MLA (1986-1988), MLA (1988-1990), MLA (1990-1995).

Born on 11 May 1948, he worked as a teacher, including at Mackenzie School (1978-1982), before a career in provincial politics. Elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly at the 1981 general election, he was re-elected in 1986, 1988, and 1990. He served as Minister of Government Services (1982-1983, 1985-1987), Minister of Highways and Transportation (1983-1987), and Minister of Natural Resources (1987-1988). He did not run in the 1995 general election.
