Historic Sites of Manitoba: No. 10 Service Flying Training School, Valley River Relief Field (RM of Dauphin)

During the Second World War, this site in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin was a relief field for the No. 10 Service Flying Training School (SFTS) near Dauphin. Aircraft unable to land at the main runways came here. A few buildings were still present at the site during a 1993 visit but were gone by 2016.
