Historic Sites of Manitoba: Morris-Macdonald Collegiate, Sanford / Sanford Collegiate (Sanford, RM of Macdonald)

Located at Sanford in the Rural Municipality of Macdonald, this secondary grade facility was built in 1961 for the Morris-Macdonald School Division No. 19. Classes at this site began on 3 January 1962, taking over from previous quarters at Sanford School. In its early years, this school was also known as the Morris-Macdonald Collegiate, Sanford.

Additions to the original building included six classroom, an administration area, and a gymnasium (1973); a home economics lab and industrial arts facility (1977); and four classrooms, two computer labs, an administrative centre, and renovations (1999).
