Historic Sites of Manitoba: Reichenbach School No. 1198 (Municipality of Rhineland)

The Reichenbach School District was established in September 1902 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at SW8-3-1W in the Rural Municipality of Rhineland. In 1965, the district was dissolved and its area was added to the Rosenfeld Consolidated School District and later the Rhineland School Division. The school site was sold and the former school building was renovated into a private residence and occupied for a number of years. When the property changed hands, the building was demolished and a new home was built at the site.
