Historic Sites of Manitoba: Quo Vadis Block (405-409 Qu'Appelle Avenue, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick block on Qu'Appelle Avenue in Winnipeg was designed by local architect David Wynyard Bellhouse and constructed in 1908 by contractor Loftur Johan Jorundson at a cost of about $56,000. The 49 feet by 120 feet building contained 29 apartments in its original configuration. The site is now occupied by another building.
