A 30,000 bushel wooden grain elevator, at Hodgson on the CNR Inwood Subdivision in the Rural Municipality of Fisher, was built in 1949 by Federal Grain Limited. Closed in 1972 when the company's assets were sold to Manitoba Pool Elevators, the building was moved to the Marble Ridge Hutterite Colony. It was destroyed by fire in 1979 and replaced in 1980 on the same site by the present steel structure.
