Historic Sites of Manitoba: Fowler Commemorative Monument (Beaudry Provincial Park, RM of Cartier)

A plaque near Highway 241, dedicated on 21 August 2003 in the wetlands of the Beaudry Lakes area in the Rural Municipality of Cartier, commemorates conservation executive Rod Fowler. He spent 29 years with Ducks Unlimited Canada, working to conserve wildlife habitat, especially for waterfowl.
