A 40,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at Arborg, on the CPR Arborg Subdivision, was built in 1948 by Manitoba Pool Elevators, the company’s second elevator at this site, but it became known as Pool A. A balloon annex built around 1954 increased its capacity to 110,000 bushels. Closed in 1998, it was demolished in March 2002.
