Memorable Manitobans: Allen Henry Weagant (1851-1919)

Dentist.

Born at Williamsburg, Ontario, son of Samuel P. Weagant, he graduated from the Royal College of Dentistry at Toronto and practiced for many years at Smiths Falls, Ontario. He came to Winnipeg in 1906 where he resided until his death. He was married to Anna Maley of Kemptville, Ontario and was a member of the IOOF. He died of pneumonia at Winnipeg on 31 October 1919 and was buried in St. John’s Cemetery.
