Memorable Manitobans: George Rath (?-?)Businessman, community advocate. He was the treasurer and a founding member of the German Society of Manitoba when it was founded in 1873. Rath was also the owner of a water and city express business in Winnipeg and figured out an innovative means of delivering water to Winnipeggers. More information:
