Physician.

Born at Brantford, Ontario in 1904, son of William Mackey, he came to Winnipeg in 1926 and graduated from the Manitoba Medical College in 1938. He practiced at Boissevain from 1934 to 1943 then was a founding partner of the Manitoba Clinic (1946). He left private practice in 1966 and joined the medical department of the Canadian National Railways, retiring in 1974. In 1934, he married nurse Frances Irene Moseson (1910-1997) and they had two daughters. The family lived at 896 Warsaw Avenue. He died at the Health Sciences Centre on 19 March 1976.
