Businessman.
Born at Brandon on 13 August 1929, son of Albert Cecil Evadne Leech (1906-1989) and Edna Gladys Wilson (1906-1989), his childhood was spent at several places across Canada as his father, a commercial pilot for Trans-Canada Airlines, moved his family. He served with the Air Cadets and flew with his father at the Brandon Flying Club. After finishing high school, he taught at Dauphin Plains School (?-?) and worked as a bank teller in Winnipeg. In 1952, he was appointed Assistant Manager at the Royal Bank branch in The Pas.
On 4 August 1952, he married Eva Patricia “Pat” Kitching (1930-2012) and they had two children before returning to Brandon in 1958 to work at Leech Printing, started by his father in 1927 and operated it in partnership with his brother Donald Edgar “Don” Leech (1932-2016).
He died at Brandon on 14 November 2023.
