Memorable Manitobans: David Joseph Goyer (1946-2022)

Architect.

Born at Edmonton, Alberta on 24 November 1946, he moved to Winnipeg at an early age and attended St. Paul's High School. After graduating from the University of Manitoba in 1971 with a degree in Architecture, he worked at several architectural firms until operating David Goyer Architecture. Over a 40-year career, he designed a variety of buildings around Manitoba, including office buildings, condos, houses, and cabins. After retirement, he moved to Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. He died at Victoria on 5 August 2022.
