Memorable Manitobans: Robert James “Jim” Duncan (1942-2018)Educator. Born at Winnipeg on 4 October 1942, son of Eileen and James Duncan, he attended elementary school in Fort Garry and graduated from the Viscount Alexander Collegiate Institute. He later received BEd and MEd degrees from the University of Manitoba. He taught at schools in Calgary, Alberta for a time then returned to Winnipeg where he was a guidance counsellor, Vice-Principal, and Principal in the Winnipeg School Division, including service at R.
