Memorable Manitobans: Harold Dueck (1929-2003)Realtor. Born in Ontario on 15 October 1929, he received BSc and BEd degrees from the University of Manitoba. He worked in real estate for over 40 years as the owner of Fairhaven Realty in Winnipeg. He moved to Toronto and, later, Vancouver, where he was a manager for Royal LePage. He was President of the Winnipeg Real Estate Board, Manitoba Real Estate Association, and Canadian Real Estate Association. He moved to British Columbia in 1978 where he was an avid boater and member of the Burrard Yacht Club (Commodore, 1986). He died at Vancouver on 18 January 2003.
