Born at Garson on 18 January 1927, eldest of six children, his children was spent on a farm near Tyndall. After graduation from the Tyndall High School (1944), he taught school at Morris then became a partner in Mid-West Cabinets in Winnipeg. This involved into a career as a home builder in the early 1950s, mostly in the River Heights area, as Dudeck and Dudeck Construction. In 1954, he established Precision Fabricating which became Paramount Glass which became Paramount Windows and Doors. He was President of the company and worked with his brothers Henry and Bernie. He retired from business in April 2011.
On 13 October 1951, he married Frances Kusmider (1927-2022) and they had two sons and two daughters. He was active with the Canadian Polish Business Association, Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society, Canadian Polish Manor, Holy Spirit Credit Union, and Knights of Columbus. He was instrumental in the building of Holy Redeemer Parish.
He died at the St. Boniface Hospital on 9 July 2011 and was buried in the Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery.
