Memorable Manitobans: Agnes Sherrard Crickard (1891-1965)Educator. Born at St. George, New Brunswick on 22 April 1891, daughter of John and Maggie Crickard, she came to Manitoba where she was the Principal of Grey School (1918-1921), Lindal School (1942-1943), Plumas School (1943-1946), and Pierson School (1946-1947), and worked as a teacher at Transcona School (1922-1938), Brickburn School (1949), MacGregor School (1953), and Erickson School (1957).
