Memorable Manitobans: James Corrigill (1857-1922)

Educator.

Born at Hamilton, Ontario on 18 July 1857, he was Principal of Elm Creek School (1912-1917), Dominion City School (1917-1918), Alexander School (1918-1919), and Graysville School (1920-1922). He and wife Martha Corrigill (?-1925) had no children. He died at Graysville on 1 December 1922 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
