Educator.
Born at Manitou on 19 October 1929, son of Hugh Henry Cook (c1898-?) and Violet Lavina Eaton (c1900-?), he grew up on the family farmstead at 10-4-9 West. He attended the Manitou School and Tuxedo Normal School, and later enrolled at the Bob Jones University at Greenville, South Carolina. He taught at Graysville School (1950-1952) and was Principal of Vermette School (1953-1954), Cloverleaf School (1957-1958), and Cloverdale School (1958-1959). He moved to Winnipeg around 1960 and joined the Winnipeg School District, including teaching at Aberdeen School (1961-1966). He and his wife Elaine had no children. He died at Creston, British Columbia on 6 April 2012.
