Memorable Manitobans: Robert Harry “Bob” Chrystal (1930-2023)Hockey player. Born at Winnipeg on 3 April 1930, his hockey career included playing with the Brandon Wheat Kings (1948-1949), Denver Falcons, Cleveland Barons, New York Rangers (1953-1955), and Brandon Regals (1957). He was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame (1995). He later worked as a public relations and sales representative for Carling Brewery and Hiram Walker Distillery.
