Community activist.
Born in 1918, she married Robert Earl Beamish at Winnipeg on 26 June 1943 and they went on to have three daughters. She volunteered at the Winnipeg Art Gallery for over 40 years and, in recognition of her community service, she received a Premier's Volunteer Service Award (2000). She died at Toronto, Ontario on 6 March 2015.
