Memorable Manitobans: John Teale Arundel (1864-1952)
Railwayman. Born in England in July 1864, he retired in October 1918 as General Superintendent of the Ontario lines of the Canadian Pacific Railway, having served 32 years with the company. His first appointment was at Winnipeg (1885), later at Vancouver, and finally at Toronto. He died on 26 December 1952.
