Businessman.
Born in Besserabia in 1904, he came to Canada in 1930. He founded the North End Furniture Company (NEFCO), initially transacting in used furniture, and later moved into new furniture in the 1940s. It later became Penthouse Furniture that operated until many years after his death. In 1924, he married Gitel Wilder (1904-1995) and they had two children: Hazel Adelman (?-2015, wife of Issie Daniel Oiring) and Allan Adelman (?-2020). He died on 16 April 1983 and was buried in the Rosh Pine Memorial Park.
