Historic Sites of Manitoba: Young House (125 Chestnut Street, Winnipeg)

This two-storey wood frame house on Chestnut Street in Winnipeg was built in 1909 for George Henry Young (1886-1956) and his family. Young was a customs broker and award-winning gardener. His son rented the house after Young moved to St. James and it remained in the family until 1933.
