This two-storey red brick building at the southeast corner Mountain Avenue and Arlington Street in Winnipeg was built in 1936 as the hall for the St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church on Burrows Avenue. Its cornerstone was officially laid on the 7 September 1936.
