A one-storey brick building on Selkirk Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 28 feet by 28 feet, was designed and built in 1920 by owner and dry goods merchant David Sorin (1882-1933) at a cost of about $3,000. He used it as a neighbourhood dry goods store with a residence for his family in the rear.
At the time of a 2024 site visit, the building was occupied by an auto parts store.
