This one-storey brick building at the northeast corner of Osborne Street and Woodward Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 40 feet by 110 feet, was built in 1937 by contractor E. Paterson, at a cost of about $20,000, as a meeting hall for the South Osborne Legion Branch No. 252. An addition was later made to the south side of the building along with modifications to the front facade. Today, the only north wall of original building is visible.
A monument in front of the building commemorates those who died in the First World War, Second World War, and the Korean War.
