Formerly located on Derby Street in Winnipeg, a one-storey brick and stucco house, measuring 27.6 feet by 32.6 feet, was designed by local architect Max Zev Blankstein and built in 1923 by contractor Adelaide B. Desrochers for confectioner Harry Nick (?-1977) at a cost of about $6,000.
The house was demolished sometime after 1956 in conjunction with the Lord Selkirk Park housing development. The site, along with surrounding buildings, are now part of the development.
