This elementary school on Pebble Beach Road in Winnipeg was commissioned for the St. Boniface School Division, based upon the architectural designs of MMP/Winnipeg and built by Triple L Construction in 1974. The facility, which began under the name of Pebble Beach School, was changed to Niakwa Place School during the first half of 1975.
It became part of the Louis Riel School Division in 1998.
