A monument beside the United Church at MacGregor, in the Municipality of North Norfolk, was unveiled on 8 December 1920 to commemorate soldiers from the local area killed during military service. It features a stone sculpture of a soldier craft by St. Boniface sculptor Nicolas Pirotton.

The seven men below perished in the crash of a Commonwealth Air Training aircraft on 26 January 1942, 2.25 miles northwest of MacGregor. A plaque commemorating them was dedicated on 25 June 1995.
