Historic Sites of Manitoba: Lapedes Duplex (295-297 Atlantic Avenue, Winnipeg)

This two-storey wood frame and stone duplex residence on Atlantic Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 28 feet by 36 feet, was designed by local architect Max Zev Blankstein and built in 1907 by day labour for owner Harry Lapedes (?-?) at a cost of about $4,800.

At the time of a 2023 site visit, the duplex residence appeared unmodified from its original appearance.
