Historic Sites of Manitoba: Hirsh House B (145 Polson Avenue, Winnipeg)

This two-storey wood frame house on Polson Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 22 feet by 26 feet, was designed by local architect Max Zev Blankstein and built in 1909 at a cost of $1,600 by owner/contractor Harry Hirsh who rented it out. Hirsh also built the house next door.
