Historic Sites of Manitoba: Gronbach Block (394 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg)

This two-storey brick and stone building on Selkirk Avenue in Winnipeg, measuring 33 feet by 60 feet, was built in 1914 by Arthur John Bonnett at a cost of about $16,000. Its main level hosted the butcher shop of owner Louis Gronbach (1878-1964) with two residential apartments on the upper level.
