A monument at Griswold in the Rural Municipality of Sifton commemorating local First World War casualties was unveiled in 1920 at a ceremony attended by Col. J. G. Rattray and Premier T. C. Norris. A second plaque for Second World War casualties was added later. The concrete plaster on the monument was redone in 1998 for the centennial celebration in town.
