This 2½-storey dark red-brown brick and Tyndall stone trimmed house on Wellington Crescent in Winnipeg, measuring 27.6 feet by 38 feet by 40 feet, was designed and built in 1913 by owners/contractors Arthur Simmons and Joseph Henry Simmons at a cost of about $11,000. They sold it to physician Orton Irwin Grain.
