Historic Sites of Manitoba: Goossen Home (193 Friesen Avenue, Steinbach)

This two-storey residence on Friesen Avenue in Steinbach was built in 1917 for Johann D. “John” Goossen and his wife Elisabeth R. Friesen. The house remained in the Goossen family until 1966.
