The Soldiers Memorial located at the Emerson Town Hall was constructed in 1919-1920 in memory of the men and women who served in the First World War. It features a stone sculpture of a soldier craft by St. Boniface sculptor Nicolas Pirotton. The monument was subsequently expanded to include those who served in the Second World War.
