This highly ornamented, one-storey wood frame residence on Powers Street in Winnipeg was built in 1913 by William Lang. Its first owner was Morris Diner. Later occupants included Susan J. Rolph, merchant George Black (1925), carpenter J. A. Peterson (1929-1938), decorator J. F. Matheson (1939-1941), and welder Roman Gereta (1969-1984).
